Love Food,
Will Travel
I love to travel! I've always been fascinated by storybook illustrations, where the animated character gathers its belongings in a bindle and ventures out into the world. Much like the character in Norman Rockwell's 1958 The Runaway, I am likely to be seen at the food counter.
Crossing the threshold of the Louvre to gaze into the eyes of the Mona Lisa, skipping down the Champs-Élysées just because, pausing in the moment of the breath-taking view of the Eiffel tower. My trip to Paris was grand, but the food!
Someday, I ought to pen an ode to the baguette.

We Are LIZ
Growing up, my sister and I were front and center when Mom baked. We knew the wooden spoon was our domain once the batter was fully mixed and the cakes placed in the oven, from where the enrapturing waft of delicious flavors would soon emerge.
We patiently trimmed parchment paper to line the pans, buttered and floured them, grated nutmegs, sifted dry ingredients. We watched the master artist at work and chimed in as needed.
Mom made everything from scratch, with fresh from the farm eggs, the creamiest butter, rich brown sugar. All our birthday parties were the best, with multiple creative pieces to enjoy.
At Elizabeth's we work to emulate those age-old techniques to create foods that appear to dance on your palate! From our table to yours for you to enjoy.
